What do you think as the current crop of students/graduates?

Morning afternoon or evening?

I’m more thinking of when you figure in your work/daily activity.

Also, you can put you idiot at the end of your reply if you like but as a newbie I have no idea what CI means.

Have I not read something I should have.

As many reply’s as you like please.

Had a great run in the sun this afternoon

Always mornings for me. Earlier the better. Sets me up for the day.

CI? Do you mean IC?

Injury Couch.

The place where we don't want to go and probably wouldn't need to if we did Slow and Steady. (Thanks for the tip Oldfloss , my lovely!!)

The right time is the one that gives you the best chance of making it a habit. For me it’s first thing in the morning as I can usually get up and out before work (or kids activities on weekends).

Don’t know what CI is either. Do you mean IC which is Injury Couch?

Mornings always for me. When I’ve done an evening I felt so stiff the next day - plus don’t have the energy. Morning running sets me up for the day.

I.C as sallenson says. 😊

I’ve only just completed W1R3 today. But I have to fit it around my horrible work shift patterns.

Ideally I would like to do mid afternoons all the time. But I know that’s not going to be possible.

So will complete it in anyway that I can 👍

Thanks Chris,

I think having taken in everyone’s reply’s, for me the latter part of the day will suite me best.

I will definitely give a cool crisp sunny weekday morning a try though.

I found week two to be a good step up

Don’t worry about doing any of the weeks more than once though.

Move on when you’re ready

Cheers

Just started a 3.45am shift. It’s a rest day for me today but am going to the gym for upper body and swimming session.

Going to leave the legs well alone, ready for W2R1 on Thursday 🙂

Hi

I run around/ after 8pm. I really enjoy that time but thinking of changing it to the mornings before I’ve eaten anything. Im finding it difficult in the evening to make sure there’s a few hours between eating and running.

You’re not an idiot just a beginner, you’re not supposed to know everything yet!

Thank you.

I tend to split it, I typically spend a few nights a week in hotels due to work so run in the evenings after work but at home do it first thing in the morning, both are fine, I guess it is whatever suits your lifestyle

I’ll try an early one in the week.

Maybe Friday morning Initially!

Thanks

I will be with you this Friday morning! Attempting my first 30 min run on the roads around home, I have been treadmill bound for the last few weeks

For me I much prefer mornings if I can drag my bones out of bed.

It’s usually cooler/less humid and it is a massive stress reducer for the working day ahead or sets me up for the rest of Saturday.

At weekends early ish is good for me.

9 o’clock is the best I can do though.

Thanks for your reply

I’ve tried mornings and evenings, but I have to say I find the evening a good way to end the day! Say’s she who has just got back, feeling tons better than when I set out! ❤️

I agree.

The sun’s going down, it’s cooler, nice breeze.

Evenings it is then😊

We are all different and I certainly would not base my running time of day on someone else's preference.

You might not have read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips.

Evenings for me. Early morning I feel like I'm running on empty. But that's just me.
