Hayfever getting me down

Went out this morning for Week 8 Run 2 and sneezed for the entire 5 min warm up. I took my hayfever medication as normal but the pollen count must have been horribly high. I considered turning round, but decided to give it a go anyway and managed to plod my way through it. My breathing was all over the place and my rhythm was knocked out by sneezing. But it’s done now and week 8 is almost over! I can almost see the finish line 😊

I do sympathise, hayfever is horrible. Keep taking your meds and you’ll get through it ok. Will watch out for your graduation post.

It is a bit of a curse, there are more and more no-go areas for me, as the season progresses. I am having some success with Benedryl with pseudoephedrine. The kids tell me I am now a drug cheat! It comes with dire warnings so I only take it on run days.

The nasal sprays are good for keeping unblocked.

I feel for you and fully understand because I suffer badly from Hayfever too. Yesterday I noticed I was sneezing abit and I've been sneezing all day today. I've taken my tablets and nasel spray but unfortunately I've never found a product that works 100% for me unless I take more than the recommended amount.

I hope you find some relief and well done for continuing and completing your run.

Thanks all. I use Beconase nasal spray and normally it works but the past few days have been awful! I’ve never been able to find anything that works 100%
