Just completed wk 8 . Can’t believe I’m starting wk 9 on Thursday. I’m so worried about finishing . C25K has been fantastic ! I don’t want to leave Laura . Not sure I can do this on my own 😔.I love the little half way bell ringing & putting up my smiley faces when I’ve finished the run . And such brilliant supporters on here !!

Well done! You’re nearly at 🎓!

I still post on this forum, and the bridge to 10k just for ongoing support. You don’t need to give that up.

You will be able to do this on your own. It’s quite nice not having someone in your ear all the time. Although, I have MapMyFitness and have set it to give me pace voice reminders every 1k. There are lots of ways of getting support without Laura. Congratulations 👌🏽

Fantastic, you're so nearly there. I keep reading the posts on here and I'm using strava to keep me motivated. It is daunting but you can do this ☺

Don’t panic! (There’s a story there somewhere.)

I’m going to use the W9 podcast to get me through to running 5k - you can play the last session as often as you like.

But I’m also looking to transition to podcasts instead.

Can empathise with the slight panic- not sure I can bring myself to abandon Laura yet - but I guess I'll need to take the plunge at some point. Good luck with week 9 :-)

I feel the same way, I’ve enjoyed arguing with Michael Johnson when he tells me to keep going 🙂 congrats for getting to week 9, nearly 🎓👍🏻

Keep posting and visiting here. It will keep you motivated. I too struggled a little after the plan. Parkruns are great for meeting people and are great for keeping you motivated. I love Parkrun.

Also try running to different music. I never would normally listen to Rap but love running whilst listening to it.

Also try an app called Zombies Run. It’s good fun. Runs in the background with whatever music you are listening to. Virtual Zombies are chasing you as you are running with a story for each run. Loads of new things to try. Beach runs, off road trail runs etc. Enjoy.

I listened to W9R3 for about 3 runs after graduating a couple of weeks ago but decided I didn’t need to be told how long I had left every run so then just listened to music for the last run and it was fine 😊😊😊 I might listen again ... I might not 🤣🤣

Good luck with W9. Don’t worry, you have 3 weeks of consolidation after graduation where you can replay W9. 😉
