Hello everyone. I'm a 36 year old woman. I'm 5"1' and 16 stone.

I need to loose 91 LB

I did my first run today. Had to stop twice due to over heating but I didn't give up.

To all of you out there. Keep going.

I am an asthmatic smoker and kept over heating.

Stop smoking is next step.

I started at 13 not knowing I had asthma since 2. The care home I lived in never told me I had asthma. They just said I was fat.

Well done you!!!!!!!! I'm 45 year old bloke who's done bugger all exercise for 20+ years and today I completed wk5 with a 20 min jog. First couple of weeks I couldn't breathe and it hurt and I was embarrassed at my level of fitness. I'm certainly no mo farah but I'd just say SLOW DOWN and stick with the programme. You can do this x

Well done on your first run!! Drink plenty of water to recover, and good luck with your plan to quit smoking, it sounds like a great idea :)

Well done! This programme is brilliant! It works! Am about to start week 9 and have always been a complete non runner. Go slow then even slower if you need to! Take more than one rest day if you need to. Drink lots of fluid. It's. It is not easy but so worth It!! Good luck!!!
