Dogs. I love seeing all the dogs out for their walks while I run. 😀. Lovely photo.

Nature for me too,although last night I set out at 9pm and had to run through thick swarms of midges (cue windscreen wiper effect with arms). Then I nearly ran over a muntjac which just stood in the way completely transfixed by the pink apparition flailing towards it.

Yes! Nature makes it so much more enjoyable 👌🏼 except the midges that I consume en route 😂🙈

Last run I did a little bird followed me with a caterpillar hanging out his mouth, he kept bobbing along next to me... maybe he was offering me his snack 😂😬

I definitely prefer park areas, and canals also look nice although the relentless flatness can be a bit dull. I'm really lucky to have a couple of parks near me (with a wooded area connecting them) which I can run around and Bridgewater canal is only a 5-10 minute walk away too.
