Just really struggled through week 3 so took a sneaky peek at what next week brings..and I've terrified myself...it seems like such a massive jump..if I've understood right it involves two five minute runs.. for the first time I'm thinking I can't do this ....😙 Did anyone else have week 4 wobble ?

Many folk...but worry is not necessary...they are still here... still running... just trust the plan...believe in yourself and take it steady and slow:)

You will be fine:)

Everyone wobbles every week but the program works. Each run (IMO)stretches your lungs and muscles a bit more so that they never return to their previous state. They just get stronger and stronger. Just remember to slow down and you’ll surprise yourself 👍🏽

DON'T LOOK AHEAD

Many folks undertake this C25K programme: everyone has a week that is their nemesis. But the beauty of C25K is that it is well structured and each week prepares you for the next one. A common problem is that we all try to run too fast. C25K is about building endurance and stamina, and that comes from longer, slower runs. Not sure if you are using the app, or listening to the podcast. If you're listening to the NHS podcast with Laura, remember "You can do this".

I listen to Laura...I really liked her, but you can go off a person😂 I struggled tonight on last run of week 3....she's torturing me 🏃‍♀️

Yes, a week 4 wobble, a week 5 wobble and a week 6 run 3 wobble. (Just don’t look, trust me) But you can do this, the programme works in mysterious ways... actually not that mysterious really, it’s just giving you all the preparation you need to continue and conquer the next run. Look at what you’ve achieved so far by following the plan👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I felt exactly the same at the end of week 3. I did the first run of week 4, found the 5 minute runs a bit of a struggle but just kept plodding on and got there slowly. It was a fantastic feeling at the end! I’m not a natural runner, but decided to go for it. I’d worked hard to get to that stage, as you have too, so give it a go and you will do great x

I’m wobbling in week 7 but a runner friend told me, “ you’ve got the legs sorted, now you just need to make sure that your mind follows.” You can do it honestly!!!

Feeling the exact same

Heading out for w4r1 tonight after work trying to think about how much easier w3r3 was than w3r1

Just give it a go

Yes yes yes this was me last week! Kept putting off week 4 as I was struggling with 3 minute runs and dreading the 5! But on Sunday I bit the bullet and went for it. After all what was the worse that could happen? Just slow things down and change your mindset. I can't believe I actually finished the entire session and I just broke down in tears!!! Believe in yourself and YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!! You will feel incredible afterwards xx

Try not to look ahead. I even try avoid reading those posts from people ahead of me. When I run I look down about 2 metres in front so I don't set a target to get to. It's just about running the time distance will come. The big thing is just to run slowly. Put music on. Listen for instructions and go for it.

Hi you can do this as you have already run for 5 minutes on week 3 so just take it really slowly.

I did W4R1 yesterday and like you was dreading it but thought if I don't manage it I'd do it again, anyway I kept my pace slow and I did it & it wasn't as bad as I'd thought as you do get recovery time

Let us all know what you thought after you've done it, goo girl 😉
