Does anyone else do this or is it just me? Anyway W1 R2 complete. A couple of days later than planned still better than not at all.

I don't give a toss now. It got far easier the further on I ran. I started in Winter in the dark which was useful!! I love smiling at people when I'm running now and its always in broad daylight because of the clocks X

You go!! and keep posting X

Hahaha - your post made me laugh :) It's so true!! I can't say I've avoided running past the houses of people I know because I don't know many people round here, but I certainly plan my routes to avoid people as much as possible, although I am getting a little less self-conscious now, which is good.

Congratulations on coming back for more after W1R1! I remember thinking at week 1 that I'd never make it past the end of the week. Running for 30 minutes seemed impossible. Please do trust the programme though, I am living proof that it actually does work. The programme is structured to take you up in line with your fitness improving, so I know you'll be fine. Just remember that at this stage in particular, you need to keep the rest days, as that's when your muscles will strengthen. Something to do with micro-tears apparently. Google it - sounds worse than it is!!

All the best for the programme, keep posting here for moral support of course :D

Micro tears - I have a lot to learn.

As opposed to micro tears - that's what happens when you hurt yourself but not too much, not big tears, just micro ones :P

Keep it up you will surprise yourself

I don't have to as only my neighbours are on my route, all my friends live further afield. However, if I was in your shoes, I know I'd do the same thing. Mainly because I don't want to speak to anyone, mind focused, legs running so God help anyone who tries to stop me! I'd probably reply "someone better be dead, or dying"!

Many of us have been there 😎. Ninja runners 😃

You could take yourself off where you won’t be seen at all I drove myself to a country park to avoid my family seeing me in Lycra It wasn’t long before I didn't need the car 😃💪👍

You do whatever it takes. I think after a little while you won’t give a stuff 😃
