Make sure you use the rest days in between. They are for your muscles to repair themselves. Well done for starting up
Welcome to the forum.
Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and unless you are an experienced runner, take your rest days. All your enthusiasm can be brought to a standstill if you injure yourself.
Enjoy your journey.
Well done! 😊
Take the rest days.
I'm out of action for the time being, but at least I know that I am doing my best to remain injury free.
Follow the plan, rest days are part of it.
(Lecture over!!)
Only going back out because we’re busy until Monday so don’t wanna have too much time away from it
DannyGould So wait until Monday. It is so so SO important to take the rest days. You are starting something that your body is not used to and so it needs time between the runs to recover. If you are at W1R1 then to have the extra rest days inbetween is not an issue. And if you run tonight then you still can not run until Monday anyway.
Also, to do 2.5 miles / 4km in 30 minutes you must have been going at quite some pace. My advice is to slow it down. You may be able to sprint through the run in W1 but as the runs get longer it will be harder to sustain. A 60 second light jog should not be giving chest pains and ear pains.
Keep it slow. Take the rest days. Enjoy the journey.

Slow is good.. running on consecutive days is not...rest days are non negotiable
Don't run tonight However short of time you are.. do some other exercises.... or end up in the IC where you won't be able to run at all...
Go Monday
