So after a miserable few days weatherwise, my run coincided with the appearance of the sun this evening. I was in such a good mood I even acknowledged other runners when only a couple of weeks ago I was actively avoiding them. It occurred to me that maybe it wasn’t just the weather and that maybe, just maybe, I’m starting to feel like a “proper “ runner. Whatever it was, my run ended with a glorious view of a distant London town bathed in sunshine, something I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t embarked upon this challenge.
