Just done my first run of week 2 in the lovely sunshine, however I’m having a bit of trouble with my knees which are both painful on the inner sides.
I used to run and didn’t have a problem but was also doing weights at the gym which I think helped.
Can anyone recommend any exercises to help strengthen the muscles around the knees or any other advice that may help? I can’t afford the gym at the moment and the only bit of kit I’ve got at home is a kettlebell.

Try to reduce impact when running. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill, wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
