Am I doing it right?

Have just completed week 3 and am worried because I find the walking harder on my joints & muscles than the jogging. Feeling good after each session and am wondering if I should be jogging faster - admittedly my speed is slow? Any advice?

Thanks Lesley

I hate brisk walking, but still do it to warm up and cool down.

Your pace should be an easy conversational pace at which you can converse without gasping, as laid out in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Worry not, later on the walking disappears completely, apart from warm up and cool down.

You are doing great.

Going slowly is the name of the game to start with, you can't go too slow! You can walk faster than you need to jog. Perhaps when walking your step is a bit heavy? Have you read the guide in the pinned posts FAQ Post... how to run c25k? There's a wealth of information there - sorry I can't add links at the moment.
