Run/Walk Ratios

So.....much as my trainers had been in a wardrobe for the last six months (fair weather plus exerciser!🤭) last time I tried this I seemed to get on better with Jeff-ing my runs. I’m finding the ratio of 60:90 in C25K VERY challenging from the fourth run in and I’m only on week 1! Is there any harm/another way to amend the run ratios to build up my stamina as I’m worried I’ll be repeating week one over and over.

Welcome.

C25k is a tried and tested training plan and of course you can adapt it any way you wish but........then it won't be C25k.

If you are having trouble, slow down. Your pace should be one at which you can hold a clear ungasping conversation, as laid out in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It does not matter if you can walk faster than your run, as long as both feet are simultaneously off the ground on each stride, you are running. You will get faster as you get fitter.
