Off road and through the woodland

Semi retired lady on week 3run2. Yes I'm in my sixties but feel great running off the beaten track. I know it's going to get harder though! Only problem is my mouth gets really dry and I don't want to carry a bottle.

Well done. I too run off the beaten track most of the time but I now carry my phone and a whistle just in case (didn't use to but oh persuaded me it was a good idea).

For a dry mouth I use a piece of chewing gum, works a treat in keeping saliva flowing. Others have mentioned putting a polo mint or some such in their cheek to slowly dissolve. I don't use hard sweets though after a couple of near miss choking incidents😊
