W4R1 done... like a lot of posts I’m tending to look at weeks ahead thinking crikey can’t see me running for that long, however here I am at week 4! Rather than look ahead I’ve looked at W1 and thinking blimey what a doddle to do that now. For those starting out, you’ll be at W4 soon enough. Also recording runs on Strava and getting a bit quicker each time. Just feeling a major achievement to get this far, and don’t feel a fraud when tell people I’ve been for a run. Happy running everyone 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Yeah, am at exactly the same stage with the same feelings. Also using Strava (started today in fact), although my current aims are running for a longer time with a lower heart rate, rather than pace. For now I am trying to ignore the fact I am running hardly any faster than I can walk!

This programme is magic: it's only the beginning of a neverending journey. I was like you 7 months ago and I now can run 10k and for more than an hour. But most importantly, I enjoy every run even when they're hard, as I feel so great being outside and not caring about anything else but rhythm, taking in the wild life around me : a sense of freedom and carelessness more exhilarating than when you walk (even if I love hiking). Enjoy the end of the programme and much more running after it :-) !

Such a cool post, thanks 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

I'm about to start Week 4 on Tuesday. I'm not even gonna think about how long the runs are - I'm just gonna go for it!
