I think the step up from week3 to week 4 is a little too much for my old & knackered body so as I'm determined to get to enjoy running I'm having a week off to rest my bones then resuming at W3 and possibly do that week a couple of times so it's easy then I'll step up, after all life's a marathon not a sprint and I know that every session is helping

Aches and pains.
It’s about listening to your body, running is meant to be enjoyable not painful!
When you do restart, start slow! As you said, this program is not about sprinting (that can come later 😁). Also, make sure you are not overstriding. Small steps! Your foot should be landing under your centre of gravity. If you are stretching your strides too far, you will be landing heavily on your heels and putting undue stress on your joints and legs.
Not a bad idea.
Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Maybe the guides can be made into downloadable PDFs or Podcasts IannodaTruffe - something that the C25K participants can have with them anywhere?
A nice idea, but we are all volunteers here and spend many hours working on the forum. There is nothing to stop anyone copying the text from the page and turning it into a pdf for their own use.
If you want me to I'll change your guides into PDFs IannodaTruffe
