Swim, cycle, walk or climb.. Yoga... Pilates.. a hard day's gardening, a blitz on housework Strength and Flex...

Squats and any exercise routine that you enjoy... non impact though. Many of us have daily routines anyway.. I have Yoga and a strength and stamina routine... just second nature now. And as the runs get longer.. the rest day exercise is so important
I have been using the "Seven" app (free version) since the start of the month to supplement my running. Quite basic but definitely improving my upper body strength - 10 press ups today! I tend to pick strength and flexibility based options as I figure running takes care of cardio. If an exercise comes on that I can't do I substitute some stretching or a different exercise. Usually do it first thing while my tea is brewing and porridge is cooking.
