Week 3 run 2 done this morning. As usual found it so much harder outside Vs the treadmill at the gym really slow jog for last 3 mins .... going to invest in new trainers ahead of week 4 , determined to see this to the end and beyond...

...and you will :) Good shoes are a must...you just take it slow and steady and you will be fine:)

I did the programme on the treadmill the first time and then tried to run outdoors and found it virtually impossible. I then joined a running group and did it again outdoors, got injured and ended up doing it for a 3rd time! I have now finally made it to 5k outdoors and it was so worth it. I am still incredibly slow but I keep going. I had gait analysis done and my new trainers made a massive difference so I definitely recommend it. Good luck and keep going, you will get there.
