Started my first session today. Feeling good that I managed it. Never ever done any real exercise due to heart condition. Used to walk a bit and now doing pilates. Office work means less walking. Want to start somewhere slow to build up stamina. Sunny day and London marathon does help with the motivation.

Well done on completing your first run. I also started my first session today and feel good after it . Like yourself I've not done much exercise just a bit of walking so hope this helps me get fitter . Good luck for your next run

Check this out for great advice. Slow and steady us the mantra... stick to it and put in stamina and strength exercises in on rest days:)
