Help needed

Hi, I’m 20 years old and I’ve been trying to loose weight since September. I’ve been going to the gym 3/4 times a week and eating moderately well. But I just can’t seem to shift the weight! I started ct5k as I’m not a good runner, but I was active before I started. I’m hoping this will help me with my running stamina and hopefully help me loose the pounds. I’m currently just over 14 stone and would like to be 12. Any advice welcome

Well done for starting c25k I had lost 3 stone before starting c25k and I needed to lose the last 2 stone but had come to a stand still. I have lost another 7lbs in the last 4 weeks but I am eating very healthily and doing this. In my experience consistency is the key and a combination of diet and exercise. More than the weight loss my shape has changed and less wobbly bits! The other secret is to find the exercise you love because then you keep doing it and therefore consistent. I wasn’t a runner, but I found this and I absolutely love it. Good luck and you will get loads of support here.


I definitely feel loads fitter and my running stamina is improving. I’ve just completed week 3. Hoping it helps me to loose weight, and I’m being even more mindful of what I’m eating. Thanks so much you too
