18 months and 1 Operation later....

Hi all, after Graduating the C25K and basking in all my internal glory for being able to complete the 30 minutes / 5k non stop, I immediately twisted my ankle (in a previous post). I then went on subsequently to tear my miniscus (?) in my knee on the very first run back post ankle!

18 months on, after lots of physio, an operation (and lots of procrastinating on my part) I have just started the whole programme again. Laura is still guiding me through and W1R1 hurt just as much as it did the first time....

I guess I’m posting to hold myself accountable and to try and make sure I don’t give up (this is my 3rd attempt and a restart), but I was also wondering if there are any other guys/girls out there that have had such injuries and what their advice is?

For now I’m about to do W1R2 (even tho my muscles are still protesting) and hope against hope that I a) stick to the plan & b) don’t get another major injury along the journey!

Thank and good luck everyone!
