Ok so I woke up this morning and headed out for Wk6 Rn2, now that was a challenge.... but I got it done!!
I don't know if its just me but I found this run harder than the continuous 20 minute run at the end of week 5. I think it's because when I ran continuously I found a breathing and running "rhythm" I guess you could call it, everything just seemed to settle in.
On this run I found that the walking kind of threw me out of rhythm. I wondered if this was just me or if anyone has experienced this.
Thank you for all the kind comments on my last post. You ladies and gents are amazing!!

Yes Week 6 can put the cat amongst the pigeons, it almost seems a retrograde step, but what it is doing is building you a foundation and intervals are some the best fitness tools you can use.
You will get used to them and they will hold you in good stead for graduation and beyond
I have just done W6 R2 and also would have preferred not to have had 3 mins walk - i had settled into a running rhythm albeit slow and the walking interrupted it.
I think all runs from now on are uninterrupted so hoping they will be better. Great to hear other people feel the same. X
You can do it Beth! I think a lot if it is mental, just trust your body and the programme and you will get through it. Let me know once you've done it on Friday, I know you'll do it, just keep moving forward
Running4Hope I did it this morning. I stopped for 50s in the middle of the 2nd 10 min run 😖 mainly because my neighbour was walking his dog and spoke to me!
