Of course it is. Running is running and you are off the dreaded couch! :O

Of course it is - although you really can't beat the great outdoors! Good luck with the programme! 🙂

Yes. Apart from the first three weeks I did it on the treadmill but only because of injury. I honestly find outside easier. Why are you choosing the treadmill?

I'm doing it all on the treadmill- I have run outside but I prefer the gym. We're all different. You have to do what you feel comfortable with otherwise it will feel like a chore & you won't do it. Good luck. I'm about to start week 2.

Treadmill is fine, but do set the gradient to a minimum of one degree, as mentioned in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which has loads of other advice.

Enjoy your journey.

I also started this journey on the treadmill- my reason was because it was so cold wet and dark outside 8 weeks or so ago. I just completed my first real run outside- and I was dreading it... but do you know I really enjoyed it? It was a lot less sweaty ! Give it a go when you feel up to it...

I completed the programme on the treadmill but when I then tried to run outdoors, I found it really hard and I have just done the whole thing again outdoors. My advice would be to try to do a mix of indoors and outdoors if you can but if you can't then indoors is better than sitting on the couch. Good luck.

You are running..many prefer it, others have no choice... I love outdoors, but you run where you choose:) Well done!
