I actually can’t believe I completed week 1 this week being so unfit. I work 12hr shifts and I have 3 in a row mon-weds which leaves me to try and do this 2nd week 3 times in a row?! Not sure how I feel about that?? What do you guys suggest?? Just spread it into next week too??

Well done X

Yes I would spread it into next week if needed - just make sure you have a day off in between each run X

Is there no way you can run on one of your work days? I did and surprised myself at how easy I found it. It also helped me clear my head of all those work things that I carried home in my head. Otherwise, definitely spread into the following week. Don’t risk an injury.

I start at 7am and finish 8pm and I’m on my feet all day often with no breaks etc (nurse life) so I think I’d find it really difficult, but I also don’t want to leave it 3 days before I go again, so maybe I’ll try Tuesday eve? X

Definately spread it out. The rest days are crucial to allow your muscles to repair. πŸ‘πŸ˜

The rest days are crucial, so if you need to spread it out, that is the way to go... If you check out the post FAQ, it explains why we need our rest days. The Admin team have seen too many folk end up injured or just leaving the porgarmme because of missing rest days.

You work so hard as a Nurse:), take it easy and spread this out and enjoy the runs:) x

Another vote here for spreading the runs. The 9 week programme is not an absolute, and if taking your rime means you are fully rested between runs, then that’s the best way we promise.

Well done you on getting the first week done. Happy running for W2 and hope you’re nice and rested when you do it.

Definitely as you need a rest day in between πŸ˜‰
