Qiestion about pinned posts

Can anyone explain how pinned posted get posted to the view pinned posts section on the app? Im not sure if or how this is where I pin favorite posts or of they are posted by an admin. Any ideas?

Pinned posts can only be pinned by Administrators

If you want to keep track of a post you can follow it or you can bookmark any post to your favourites.
