It’s getting on my nerves.. literally

It’s been a while since I posted, I had groin issues which were causing me delays in finishing. At week 9 run 2 I had to stop, just as I was about to complete. I had pain not only in my groin but in my hip and subsequently all along my right leg into my very foot!!! I eventually got to see a sports physio and he is treating me for an inflamed nerve in my lower back which he thinks is causing the issues!!!

Hopefully the treatment will work and my physio says he will get me back running as soon as possible!!! Fingers crossed! 🏃‍♀️ 🙏🏻

I do hope it’s not too long before you’re able to start running again.

Oh I sympathise. I have a similar thing that keeps recurring. I never seem to get beyond W8! Great good luck to you & get back running soon.

I was on w8r3 looking forward to w9 when a little bit of tomfoolery at home gave me a stress fracture in my foot. I waited and waited til the pain had almost disappeared and compression sock on I tentively tried picking up where I left off. Massive fail. I'm now back at w5r1 having started all over again!

Oh no! Total bummer! I won’t rush into it yet and wait to see what the physio says on Monday, but I do miss it especially as I had got up to a good pace. I hope you do great this time around! 😀
