I'm so glad I've found this forum! I've just done my 2nd run of Week4 and very nearly talked myself out of it. I'm finding the 5minutes a real challenge, but some inner strength made me do it! I'm so glad I did! And am looking forward to reading some inspiring posts on here to keep me going! Thank you 😊

Hey Flaraflarkin! I just found the forum too and I'm also at week 4 run 2. I need to have a few days off to let my niggly knees recover so you will probably zoom ahead of me now! Yes it's great to have this forum to keep us motivated 😁

Hey Helenofhastings 😊 Hope your knees are ok soon, I need to keep a check on all those niggly bits too - particularly that right hip! 😩 I hit 50 this year so am "at that age" and it doesn't help that I haven't exercised for years! Great to hear that we are running side by side! Keep going 😬

I'm also "at that age", I will be 54 this year, I did a bit of running about 10 years ago but it is harder now - I keep getting sore bits! Oh the joys of middle age! Happy running 😁

Well done for keeping at it! To encourage you, think that whenever the run feels hard, well, it means you're building up stamina :-) Of course, you should listen to your body and never run in pain: this programme is made for you to enjoy running not to go through sessions of torture. Go slower if you find it hard, and don't worry about the pace: even if your running is slower than your walking, it's still running because your two feet are off the ground ;-)

Hi there! Every week is a challenge but then you look back and realise that the earlier weeks would seem easy now. I bet weeks 1 and 2 would be a doddle for you now and in a couple of weeks 5 minutes will be easy. Just stick with it - good luck1
