And now I can’t walk due to pain in my foot!
Run had gone well yesterday then developed foot pain a few hours later to the point it’s so sore I can barely walk.
I’m a Physio myself and think it’s possibly a stress fracture or peroneal tendinitis.
Anyone else been in a similar position and managed to get through the programme? Tried running a few years ago and again ended around four weeks in due to shin splints.
I’m comfortable with how I’m managing it RICE -and I’ll go to get diagnosis confirmed.
And in terms of prevention I felt I covered everything (glut strengthening, stretches for hamstrings and calf’s and I had trainers fitted to me following gait analysis- all prior to starting the program!
So I’m pretty frustrated to say the least!
Any hope?? Or shall I just stick to another form of exercise??
