Still have 4 more runs to do πŸ™„

Things never went quite as I had expected,

Last week was fantastic, spent time quality time with my daughter and two little grandchildren

Even though I didn’t get to run , I was still running around πŸ˜‚

So this week I planned to go for a run , don’t feel up to it today ,

Hopefully at some point this week fingers crossed I will get to do W8/3 and then I will be thinking can I still run for 28min after almost 2wks Off

It’s is a 28min Run isn’t it πŸ˜‚

I must have started about the same time as you did (jan 9th for me) - and did week 8 run 1 last night! :) I'd had a gap of 9 days in my week 7, but managed to continue, so you'll be fine. You won't have lost all that hard-earned fitness yet ;)

General rule of thumb is 2 weeks off and things start to deteriorate in terms of stamina etc, but you should be fine. As ever the mantra is slow and steady, no point in blowing up so close to graduation week.

Good luck and happy running next time out

You will be fine. Week 9 took me almost a month, with more than 2 weeks between run 1 and run 2 due to injury. I took the final 2 runs at a very cautious pace and was fine.
