Hi everyone. I recently finished week 4 and have had to take just over a week off running due to a broken and very sore toe!! I’m due to start back tonight and just wanted some advice on whether it would be easier to re do the last run of week 4 (or the whole week) to build myself back up or if I should just move on to week 5 like i would of done? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thankyou :)

Ouch 😖😫🙁

You can restart where you left off and attempt week 5. You won't know how it feels til you try it. You’ll soon know 🙂 you’ll find your level and then you can crack on. It will feel strange at first I dare say. Just take it slow and steady as per

Have fun 🙂😃👍🏃‍♀️

Oh ouch! Don’t push that toe before it is ready. I would go out with an open mind and see what your body tells you-including your toe! Good luck! 😃

That’s great, well done! But still be careful with that toe! 😄

Generally a week off shouldn’t be a big deal for re-starting where you left off.

Why not just go out without a specific run in mind and just see how you and your toe feels!

If you feel good then carry on for the W5 runs, if you don’t drop back a bit.

Happy running and hope that toe is fixed nicely now
