im definitely not going to get the 5K in 30 mins, I managed 3.2K in 27 mins today. However, I'm totally thrilled I'm able to run for 27 mins!!! Got 3 weeks to get my pace up a bit ππ»

Well done JKA73, well on your way now to the Graduation podium...
Not many of us can or want to run 5k in 30 mins, but we all CAN run for 30 minutes by the end of the program.
Your pace is good enough, there is no need to push to go faster than is manageable. Once you have graduated and are regularly running you will naturally get a bit faster as your legs get stronger and your stamina improves.
Keep up the good work and enjoy the next few weeks as you ease into these longer runs, starting nice and slowly, staying steady and finishing with style!
Good luck with Week 7, you are doing brilliantly πxx
Thank you, I've definitely got the running bug π

Don't worry about your pace at all - that doesn't matter a jot right now! Keep going steadily and you'll get to the end of the programme. And steadily beyond that and your pace will increase.

Forget getting your pace up
You are doing so well... take it slow and steady and head towards the podium, having had fun and injury free
