W6R3 - what a feeling!!

Hi everyone, first time poster on here, although have been following posts on here since I started back in January, and always got so much encouragement, hints and tips from all the other couch to 5k-ers! So thanks to each and every person who has posted

This week has been tough, after the high of week 5 run 3, the first 2 runs of week 6 I did complete, but almost broke me! But tonight, I ran for 25 minute non stop and managed my longest distance yet! Now for someone who started 7 weeks ago struggling to run for a minute at a time, this is a massive achievement! When I finished the 25 minutes I practically high 5'd myself in celebration! What a feeling! And my couch to 5k called me a 'runner'!!! amazing 😁😁

I' actually really enjoying learning to run, and the programme works!! I also love the psychological benefits of putting my headphones in, my trainers on and getting half an hour of me time, thinking of nothing else but the music (and sanjeev) in my ears!

To anyone thinking of doing this programme......do it! It' the best thing I've Done and I can' wait to graduate and start building up my distance in 30 mins.

Happy running everyone 😊

Love it. Yes it's so good to get in that bubble and just do it for yourself! Such important "me time" that we've missed out on until now!

I just did week 6 R2 today and really really struggled. Hoping it will pass I really didn't enjoy it for the first time. Well done getting on so well ❤️

I honestly felt exact same, I think it's the stopping and starting. W6r3 was still a challenge today, but I find once I get into a rhythm it's much easier to keep going, good luck and keep going x
