Running on holiday is a joyful experience that has only revealed itself to me over the past year. Cold and bright in Northumberland. My favourite conditions for a leisurely 5k
It’s lovely...: Running on holiday is a joyful... - Couch to 5K
It’s lovely...
That looks beautiful! And what’s that funny blue colour in the sky??? Have fun, enjoy your holiday!
It’s cold mind!
Cold and bright is the norm in Northumberland.........even in the summer.........but that is just perfect for running.
Is that Lindisfarne castle?
It’s the priory. It’s an amazing, magical place. I love staying here and being intermittently cut off from the rest of the world
Isn't it...it's like having an extra bit added to our holiday and makes you feel so much more connected to where you are.
Yes I’ve walked a lot here but this is the first time I’ve run
Oh I have been there many times- I love Northumberland, - it is our 'go to place' for a day out. If you want a beautiful coastal run or walk, the stretch of coastline between Boulmer and Craster is gorgeous- great fish restaurant at the pub in Boulmer for the end of the day too. Happy holidays! 😃
Yes we love it here too. In the pub Reminiscing about holidays with the children over the years.
We love low Newton to Craster and back as a walk. 8 miles is still a bit too far for my running especially as a lot of it is on sand!
Gorgeous! Lucky you!
What a beautiful place to run and that blue sky is the icing on the cake.
Ooh I love Northumberland! And know the priory well.
I’m still new to this running lark (W8) and I shocked my other half yesterday cos I said “ i need some more running tops else I’m gonna run out of clean tops when we’re on hols” he nearly choked on his cup of tea!...”are you really gonna run when we’re away from home?” he asked. “Course I am” I answered, and he walked away chuckling... think he’s secretly proud though 😉🏃♀️

Yes! You are a runner now! Mr Beth needs to get used to the new you🏃🏾♀️
Oh that looks like a great place to run 👍
An island gives you a natural running circumference route and Lindisfarne is a very manageable distance. Got to be done 🏃🏾♀️
If you have never been to Lindisfarne it is well worth the journey - but a long way from your part of the country.- I often think of you because my daughter is in her first year at UEA. First time visiting the Fens for me - so beautiful. 😀
Looks & sounds perfect 😊🏃🏼♀️
