A bit unwell Monday meant postponing w4r1...Tuesday I was feeling betterish so the wife and I to keep our running muscles at least partially active walked/jogged to the local supermarket - and after a brisk 5 mins walk we thought...is 5 mins running really doable? Well we had a good go and looks like it really is! So we can't wait until feeling up to doing the proper programme rather than a 12 minute trip to the shops! Much more upbeat about it despite the big step up from week 3!

Sounds like you're going to be doing great with week 4 once you're better. Well done.

I had 2 bouts of illness during the program, which was really frustrating, so I know how you feel. But I think the enforced ‘rest’ days - and repeating some weeks several times - actually did my running some good. Don’t worry, get better, and the runs will still be waiting for you. 😄
Thanks! It was only a little upset fortunately, and probably would have tried the proper run on Wednesday (even though it was valentines day!) had we not jogged to the supermarket on tuesday and thereby made wednesday a rest day. Going out in a few minutes, eager to see how we get on.
