I want to go out for my run and I’d go out in the rain...but torrential rain and 50mph winds?! I think I draw the line at that!!

Isn’t it frustrating and very annoying?!

I started running in May when it was warm with light mornings and then had summer and autumn which were great to run in so this winter I have really struggled with the dark, the cold and the wet. Even though I have graduated and run for 30 minutes and also done quite a few 5K runs, recently I have struggled to even run a solid 30 mins. I cant wait for spring again to get motivated. I am going to start doing some interval training using week 1 to try and get going again. You will really see a difference in your running once Spring eventually arrives! Good luck

This is exactly how I feel. The weather where I live is so wet and cold it doesn't help my motivation.

I started in December! I figure that if I can run all through winter, spring and summer will be a breeze!!

Sometimes discretion is the better part of valour and staying in can be a wise choice! Just make sure you do go out at the next opportunity and don’t succumb to the couch’s dastardly plan to reclaim you! ;)

Oh no, I’m itching to get out there!! I feel awful when I can’t! Brightened up now but can’t be bothered to go out with 2 kids, and we are baking a cake!!

Just seized my moment and went out while it was dry! Kids miles ahead on their scooters as I plodded along! Feel awesome now though, so glad I did it!

I started in January, so all I’ve known is freezing cold and rain but I love it, I’m very over weight ( think hunky gorgeous george clooney with a fat beer belly ( part of that was a lie) and essentially that’s me, but because of being overweight I get hot and sweat loads very quickly ( sorry if too much information 🤢) so I think it’s fantastic that there’s a constant cold shower of rain of freezing sea breeze ( I live by the coast) to cool me down, I often open my jacket or take it off to cool me down...I’m dreading the summer heat..😱...I’ll probably pass out or make my run via a beer garden (medicinal purposes👍🏻) literally love “cool” runnings
