SlimmingWorld and c25k

I’ve just finished my 1st week on Saturday and was all excited about my weighing which is every Monday. So for 1 week I have ran for 24mins in total. Stepping onto the scales I was shocked when the lady told me I had put half pound ON. I have stuck to plan and am in a limbo now. As I suffer with mild depression this has hit me hard. I know it’s only half a pound but I just don’t understand.

Hi, I am also doing SW and am on wk4r1 of C25k and have also put half a pound on this week and stayed the same for the last two weeks, although I have lost inches, so understand how you feel. I found I was getting really hungry last week so this week am making an effort to eat more (syn free of course) to see if that shifts a bit and also drinking more water. Keep with it the C25K is a brilliant plan as is the SW one but I feel as long as you keep at it the results will come. Good luck you're doing great. x

I do Sw - stick to it you will get results - don't forget to take measurements too and not to rely to much on what those scales say ( easier said than done I know )

You can do this !

Your body will change with the exercise but it’s not always reflected by the scales. Take measurements! I wish I had when I first started after Xmas, the scales have changed only ever so slightly but my jeans are looser around my waist and bum!! (My boobs have shrunk slightly too, much to mr catbees horror 😱🤣) sorry to much info!! Don’t get disheartened though and keep running! 💪🏻🤗x
