I haven’t ran for over 5 years and started this app 2 weeks ago. I’m on the last run of the week and next run will be week 3! My first run on week 2 went well, but last two runs have not been good. I think it’s because I’ve not been eating well, but not sure and now because my next run is week 3, I’m panicking. I don’t see how I’m going to be able to run for double the time..
Just came across this page..: I haven’t ran for... - Couch to 5K

LOL I'm sorry but your post made me laugh because for most of us who have done or are doing the C25K programme, we had not run on a regular basis for ages, (in my case, well over 20 years!). So, even if we lose our fitness very quickly, I'm very confident you'll manage the runs in W3. Just don't fret about it, relax and try to enjoy yourself. The mantra of this forum is SLOW and STEADY; if you find it difficult, slow down: you can run as slowly as you can walk: the only difference is that both your feet are off the ground at one point
You mention your diet but also make sure you drink a lot of water the day before your runs. Be confident: you've done the hardest part which is to get out and run. You'll be fine if you take it gently.

Check this info in this post out...then calm down.. relax and know you are going to be fine
Eating properly and hydrating too is essential... also, taking it very slowly and steadily
This is a journey...not a race... your journey and the idea is to build up slowly and have fun on the way
Take your rest days and keep posting for great support. You are not alone
