Having just graduated I've now got a chicken pox related virus and am feeling really under the weather, hence not running at the mo. I only ran once last week too. Once I'm feeling up to running again, is there a rule of thumb to help gauge what distance to start running at again?

I have also had a running interruption due to a viral infection dragging on - so sympathy. I think wait until you are better, then listen to your own body is the way to go. The advice I have seen is that you won't lose condition much up to 2 weeks. 😄
