Pain in side of foot

Katiethompson2307 profile image

Just completed W4R1 and feeling good! Such a good feeling and it's getting easier too. BUT I have a pain on the inside of my leg, just around from the calf. It's got worse over the past two weeks after a run. Should I carry on running or do I need to rest?

I would see what happens if you rest up an extra day or two.

If it persists, then something needs addressing.

Are you wearing shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop? If not, they may be the cause.

Have you read the guide to the plan ?healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Never try and run through bad pain, it can make things worse in the long term, as it's been going on for some weeks, it's time to restup, and address as Iannodatruffe says..

The runs will still be there when you're fit..😊
