W3+ Snowdrops in the dark

Having had a busy day yesterday and forgotten all about it being a running day until i was getting tea out of the oven, I was determined to get out today! DD2 pleaded homework, but that didn’t let her off the hook altogether - once she’d got enough done, she was dispatched off to get ready! Eventually, an hour after I’d been hoping to get out, we finally left the house.

This time I remembered to put my extra time on every run, so we did week 3 with and extra 30 seconds or so after the 90 second intervals, and an extra minute after the 3 minute ones. So all in all, I reckon we got to around 12 minutes running. Happy with that! And although DD had only done one proper week 3 run, she put on the extra time too and managed it all.

She still tells me that she really doesn’t like running - but she’s this evening also asked if we can do Glow in the Park again in the autumn...! 😄

Oh and this evening’s title comes from the moment as we were running by the river she commented excitedly on the snowdrops catching the light of my torch 😊

That creates a lovely picture in my mind - little sparking snowdrops 😊 Sounds like a great run, well done for managing a run after dinner I tend to struggle after eating. Well done for adding on extra minutes too - good plan. Keep up the good work 👍
