It was with some trepidation that I ventured out late afternoon today to do the first week 8 run. But inspired by a glorious sky, my new running top, Bruce Springsteen (my music), Michael Johnson and of course the encouragement here...I did. So pleased to have done it, I was worried. It was also good to be outside again (see previous post) - the feel of the wind in my hair was particularly uplifting.....just over a year ago I had none (chemo)...I wonder if there are any other cancer survivors on this programme, endeavouring to get fit after treatment?
