Needed Trail shoes as the local park run is a touch boggy. The road shoes last week made it interesting. So today bought these beauties and did W8R1 with them. No issues, lots of grip, very comfortable. Almost looking forward to Saturdays W8R3 at the park run. If all goes according to plan I should graduate the following Saturday.

Sassy!!! Slow and steady, as you go, even in those lovely shoes:)

Indeed. My slowest long run yet , but perhaps the most enjoyable and the one with the most energy left in the tank. W8 r2 tomorrow.

Oh, welcome to the muddy hilly stoney gritty leafy puddly side! Decent off-road runners make life so much more fun (even if they do mean your gear requires a hose-down before it goes in the wash).

So I have discovered. It was prompted by a muddy park run in road shoes. The music I was listening to could have been Paul Simon's "slip sliding away" or at one particularly steep section the theme from Ski Sunday.
