Late spring into early summer is a great time to find a 5k near you. Supernova and Colour Obstacle Rush are both fun 5k events which happen in a variety of places; I’m sure others can suggest other runs. And of course there may well be a Parkrun near you - that’s a free, weekly 5k usually on a Saturday morning, held all over the country and beyond.
Happy running!
