Wk 2 R 1- I'd already put it off a day because I wasn't in the right frame of mind yesterday but I was determined to go out tonight; it would have meant the whole week was going south if I'd let it slide any longer.
Then it started snowing - quite a lot. A couple of people were trying to talk me out of it but because I'm a bit perverse, the more it snowed and people said I couldn't do it in 'this', the more I was saying 'I am definitely doing it'.
And I did. I just had to run a bit more slowly so that I didn't slide but it was fine. I actually enjoyed it and the legs, feeble knees and ankles are holding up ok so far. Hardly anyone around and everything looked pretty, covered with fresh new snow. Next run on Thursday

Well done... too much here yesterday for running... as long as you took it steadily... ice is the one, where it is best to run another day
Wow, well done you for braving it and going out. Luckily I ran yesterday. Ice all over the pavements today, though a girl passed me running when i was taking the dogs out, and she didn't slip once, even on the unexpected bit on a downward slope where I nearly came a cropper.
