Week 2 Run 1 Smashed

Just completed my W2R1 and I can feel the sweat dripping off me. I was very thankful for those 2 minutes brisk walks. I had one hiccup close to the end. I came down wrong on my right leg and slighly twisted my ankle. I had a bit of panic but i'm fine now.☺ I went out with a friend after work on Friday and she naturally asked if I was going to have a glass of wine (now I never refused wine) but imagine my surprise when I heard the words "not tonight I have a run in the morning" spoken by me. 😲🙊🤗 I find myself looking forward to each run and it's happy to see little small changes in my daily routine and attutude.

Well done. It's great to post here too as you can really see the progress that you make. I'm the same the night before I run. No wine and a small meal. Keep up the good work x

Good for you........in all senses!

Abstaining from alcohol the night before a run is one of my habits, meaning that there are at least three alcohol free days in the week.
