Happy New Year Everyone ...

Not been out running for a few weeks now, still nursing my Achilles, and probably have another couple of weeks before I can start to do any meaningful work, in the gym to begin with.

Just shows how delicate we are doesn't it, one little slip and I've missed about 6 weeks ....

On the plus side, to keep you updated, my personal life is decidedly better. My deedpoll came through, so I am officially Christene Jayne, got new bank cards, and my driving licence application is in the post. Meeting with my team today to tell them all about Christene Jayne, and then I'm all set for a 24x7 lifestyle change.

OMG, 2018 is rockin already ... can't wait to get running again though, put a couple of pounds on over Christmas that definitely need to come off .....

Happy New Year! All the best for your Achilles recovery and your life as the real you. Some members posted a Pdf for Achilles stretching just in case you want to have a look (you probable already have physio) a few days ago.

Thanks @Anthie, will have. Look for that, that’s issue at the moment, short tendon. Ok in heels though 😊😂

The post is by PetrinaB and it's called "Eccentric calf exercises" lol, it's a Pdf available on one of the NHS websites but I can't copy the link in my post. You'll get to it directly if you search C25K though.

Oh no, sorry to hear about your injury, that's really bad luck. Don't know if it's got anything to do with winter, but there are a lot of us in the wars of late so it seems.

Brilliant news otherwise, 2018 is going to be your year Christene! :)

Really sad you are not yet running......

Really happy you are taking charge of your life! Go Christene😊
