A tip for any new Graduates consolidating their 30 minute runs and maybe trying to reach the 5k mark. Have your playlist on shuffle, it makes a big difference...
Today this song (post title) came on at the halfway mark...ooh I like this I thought, it's great to run too and it picked me up. Then when I had only half a kilometre left and was flagging but on for a pb it came on again...spooky.. and carried me on to the finish.๐
If you are always running with the same order of songs your mind wants you to stop, trick yourself and see if you can run a little further.
Happy running๐x

Thank you, Jan. I should find the time to compile that list of C25K tracks for my next runs ranging from Beethoven,... Steve Reich to jazz and pop-rock and more. For me the "Julie song " would definitely do the trick for the last couple of minutes!
I was intigued and had to google this. I feel a new download coming on! I can see how this would help pick you up. Love it! Was surprised to see Boys are back in town was theirs as well; that one I know and also like but had no clue who sang it. Another added bonus to this forum ๐
I'm set for Sunday's run now! A new playlist, titled Long Slow Run. 64 songs and growing, all from the 70's and 80's. It'll be a step back in time. Can't wait ๐
This is so true... I flagged a bit on a 5k and then eye of the tiger came on and it carried me forward... definitely good to have some variety ๐๐๐
Hi - so after starting my C25K back in October, despite 2 x bad colds, 2 x bad weather and 1 x Christmas I have FINALLY completed week 9 x3 (5 staggered attempts in total), so thoroughly bored of Laura's playlist. I'm now going to stack up my own AWESOME playlist on shuffle - cannot wait. Please may I have a 'Graduate' badge? and say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the C25K contributors for making this challenge such an inspiration - you are ALL AMAZING - if we can do this in the middle of winter - we can do ANYTHING!
