I did week 5 run 3 (20mins) on xmas day which was super hard but then bad weather, bored teenager, visiting family etc put me out of my routine. Now I have a hideous cold and can't possibly run. Worried by the time I'm well enough to run it will have been 10/11 days since my last run. Has anyone else had to have a break of this long? How hard was it getting back into it?

It generally takes two weeks before you will notice a drop in your condition, so just pick up where you left off and if you don't manage to complete it then you repeat it.......simple.

I agree with lannodaTruffe, you have done Wk5 R3, so just give Wk6 R1 a go when you are completely fit and well... and I hope you feel better soon,

Wow! Wk5 R3 on Christmas Day shows real dedication! With that kind off spirit I'll reckon you'll manage Wk6 R1 regardless of a longer break!
