First time at Blickling (Norfolk) park run this morning.
Loved it! Not worried about time which was slightly slower than previous park run but Blickling has hills. Well I say hills more like a steady incline for about 1k than you repeat it on second lap. Normally I do flat routes but I am pleased to say I did run up the hill, all be it quite slow.
Great atmosphere as there was a running group who were led by a woman celebrating her 70th birthday 🎉. I finished in front of the group but that's only because they stopped to gather and run across the finish line together to cheers from everyone.
Very happy that I went out today. Now to finish Christmas preparations 😊

Well done Cornet-Carolyn ...I watched from my window this morning all the Santa’s running in the park while I sipped my tea, I ran yesterday but was very tempted to break the rest day rule & run this morning with Santa hat & Bells but there’s an extra park run tomorrow morning so I think I may join them then....Merry Christmas to toy & yours x
Thank you I almost ran yesterday evening as left off work early. Then I thought oh I can fit in a park run 😉 There is one locally on Christmas Day. I may be tempted!
