As a fibromyalgia sufferer, I really wasn't sure if this C2k lark was a good idea but I like a challenge! The first weeks were tough for me, there's no denying it and I could hardly move the day after running. But somewhere around week 5, I could see the end in sight and was even more determined to get through the pain and make it to my goal. And today was the best run ever, it felt fantastic knowing how far I had come......and to see that gold trophy light up at the end was magical :). I couldn't have done it without the support of this community, even though I didn't post much, I was cheered on reading all your comments and knowing I wasn't alone. To all those on their journey...you can definitely do it! I'll be here cheering you on now. Thank you to everyone and keep on running πŸƒ!

You have my total admiration.

Many congratulations.

Has the running helped with pain relief?

Keep running keep smiling.

Thank you! The running has helped somewhat with the pain ... it's definitely not as bad in the last couple of weeks compared to the first 2 or 3. But mostly it's been about helping me mentally to cope with the condition. It used to get me down a lot particularly if I had to use my walking stick, but since running it's been a case of 'you can't stop me'! So, pain is still there but I can cope with it much better now :)

I have a friend with fibromyalgia, who I have hesitated to recommend running to, since I know the condition can vary so much between individuals.

I hope running continues to give you that ability to cope.

Best wishes and Happy Christmas.

Huge congratulations and my utmost respect..!!

My daughter has fibromyalgia (along with other conditions that would prevent her from running) and I know what pain she suffers every day.

You are amazing and a real inspiration.

Keep going on your journey and please keep posting ☺️

Wow! Just amazing, very well done. I think my husband has this, undiagnosed and it's pretty debilitating on a daily basis. You are an inspiration to us all :)
