Tried my first run of week 4 and totally muffed it up 😢. I couldn't even run the first 3 min segment even though I'd done them ok-ish last week and it went from bad to worse, with me bent over from cramp in both calves and not getting anywhere near finishing it all. 5 mins without stopping? No sireee.
I got up to 4 mins on one go without dying but I just couldn't do the 5. If Michael J had been there with me in person, instead of being all silky smooth in my ears, he'd have got a slap around the chops today! 'You're halfway' he shouts and rings his bell. I grunt back 'you must be joking. I've been running for hours'!!!
I gave up and went home, disappointment in every step. Btw he keeps telling me to go slow. I can't run any slower, as if I did I'd be jogging on the spot! Will repeat it though and keep trying. Happy Christmas all 🍸🍷🎅🏻🌲🎁🎉

Don’t give up and don’t be downhearted! Take IannodaTruffe’s sage advice and keep at it. We’ve all had bad sessions and just have to put them down to experience!
Good luck
I struggled in week 4 and also wanted to slap the sexy voiced Mr Johnson round the chops! My next run was fine and I bet yours is too. X
Don’t be disappointed it was just one of those days, next time you go you will probably wonder why it all went wrong this time! I know what you mean though halfway through my last run I was shocked when told I was halfway! Halfway? Then when I thought I’d definitely done it I had “just” 60 seconds to go! 😬. Next time you’ll do it! 🤶🏻🎄🎅🏻🍸🍷🍾
Yes, as other members said, trust the programme and don't feel disappointed: a lot of us had to repeat a few runs before reaching W5. It was one of those days when you feel tired even before starting. Also, your body may need two days instead of one day in-between runs. It's always possible to run slower I wish you a successful run before Xmas!
